Brine and bathing have long been part of the city’s spa identity. During your stay, treatment services are provided by the Pomeranian Centre for Rheumatology, next door to SeaSide.
Sopot in earlier days
Sopot’s spa tradition goes back to the early 19th century. Visitors came for bathing, rest and social life by the sea. You can still combine treatments with walks, culture and time in the town today.
Brine baths and pool
PCR offers baths and exercise in its brine pool. Water-based treatments form part of its hydrotherapy and balneotherapy services. A specialist selects the type, duration and frequency, taking indications and contraindications into account. You do not need to choose a therapy yourself from an online description.
Inhalation and an outdoor graduation tower
PCR offers brine inhalation. Sopot also has a public outdoor brine graduation tower, free to use, at the Sopot Sailing Centre by beach entrance 34. You may wish to include it in a walk; check availability before setting off.
